Duncan Park is a South African guitarist and part of the exciting pastoral/acid folk scene that is blossoming in Durban that includes Return to Worm Mountain, Rise Up, Dead Man, and William Graham Randles' Seven Rivers of Fire.

Invoking the Flood is a meditation on the cleansing and healing properties of water. Duncan's journey takes us through the Kuruman River, into the heart of the Kalahari desert of South Africa where he evokes the sound of the river as it flows again for the first time in forty years following heavy rain. Acoustic guitar intertwine with electric drone, kalimba and orbaphone to create a blissful soundscape.
