Advaitic Songs is OM's fifth studio album and the follow up to 2009's God Is Good, The primary sound of OM remains, but on this new album they reach further and extend their evolution into areas not heard previously.

The use of different instruments on this album adds a much more rounded sound to OM's arsenal - flourishes of strings, archaic percussion and a sense of wonderment means this is a surreal, yet calming experience, Whatever drone-doom genre that had been hoisted on the duo in years past has been decimated by the sheer imagination, expansive quality, and meticulously detailed arrangements of this new album, OM feature ex-members of the legendary doom outfit Sleep.
