Giannis Arapis (Greece) and Kawol Samarqandi (Japan) are two highly skilled and idiosyncratic guitarists - Giannis coming from a jazz-experimental background and Kawol drawing on the delicate minimalism of Loren Connors. 

Together on Thieves' Lair they cover moments of improv, blues, minimalism and jazz and these five tracks are deftly played with tasteful melodic interplay with just the right amount of dissonance.
