AUL KIDNEY JAPANESE EXPERIENCE are a cross-country, cross-ocean, cross-hemisphere, cross-language unit of 4 very individual, seasoned performers - Paul Kidney, Don Drum, Tabata Mitsura, and Masami Kawaguchi.
They are an experiment that should not work, with their foundation being pure improvised approach to psychedelic rock.
They have wowed audiences over two national tours of Japan in 2024 and 2025. Now with their debut LP, they embark on an Australian tour.
Their sound unadultered by planning or pre-production conversation. Just recorded purely as improvised work. In the case of this first LP, half the music was recorded in Australia with the other half overdubbed in Japan.
