Shuddering Cloud is a collaborative project between multi-instrumentalist and genre-defying musicians Lucas Brode & Colin Fisher.

The five tracks on 'caught between two fires' were built through varying methods and recorded remotely in their respective homes of New York's Hudson Valley and Toronto, Ontario.

Passing musical elements & notes back and forth via online communications, the rhythmic structure & form was often informed by Colin's saxophones melodies with Lucas' various sounds providing more textural and harmonic focus.

Different pieces were edited, shifted, effected, and mixed by Lucas during production to create unique & cohesive songs with equal influence from late 20th century experimental rock music and the ambient-jazz releases of ECM records.
